PRACTICE EXPERIENCE
Elaine Ng Yee Leng is the founder and managing partner of Messrs Elaine Ng & Partners. Her work includes a wide range of corporate and commercial transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, corporate advisory and compliance involving listed and private companies, her current primary areas of work, aside from corporate and commercial works include real estate and corporate real estate and litigation.
Elaine Ng Yee Leng has worked as in-house legal counsel in Total Oil Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, a French oil and gas company in Singapore, supervising and managing global legal affairs of the company and its operations in Asia Pacific region. She was also practicing in Colin Ng & Partners, a law firm based in Singapore as a Registered Foreign Lawyer handling Banking, Conveyancing, General Corporate and Corporate Finance (in particular, IPOs, RTOs, M&As, Private Equity and Funds matters) and Corporate Compliance & Secretarial (for both listed and private companies) matters in both Singapore, China and foreign jurisdictions.
She was also formerly the Head of Legal and member of the senior management team of Hai-O Enterprise Berhad, a Malaysia main board listed company (won Forbes Awards for continuing 3 years) which has operations in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and China. Prior to that, she completed her training at Messrs Lee Hishammudin Allen & Gledhill, which is a top-teir legal firms in Kuala Lumpur and also practised in Messrs Jeff Leong, Poon & Wong in Kuala Lumpur, where she had acquired a broad-based experience in advising companies in IPO’s exercises, corporate restructurings, take-overs and mergers of public companies, bonds issuance, corporate governance, sale and acquisition of private companies, businesses and assets, joint ventures and foreign direct investments, public listed companies in various aspects of their corporate exercise, and complying with the relevant corporate and securities legislation, employment issues and trademarks.
